Moxy Houston Downtown – A Favorite for Families in Houston

Check-in begins at Bar Moxy with a complimentary cocktail and a token for a second drink. The hotel offers a mechanical bull ride, live music performances, and nightly themed events like karaoke and movie nights. Guests can also join pub crawls, happy hours, and stand-up comedy shows organized by the entertainment staff.

The on-site American restaurant serves brunch, lunch, dinner, and cocktails with a traditional and modern ambience. A lively open bar provides affordable drinks and snacks, while the coffee house on site offers specialty coffee. Wine and champagne are available, along with special diet menus upon request.

Each air-conditioned room has a flat-screen TV with streaming services and a city view, but no mini-fridge or coffee maker. Compact rooms maximize space with wall hooks instead of a closet, and guests can borrow extra pillows or blankets from lockers on each floor. The hotel is pet-friendly, providing pet baskets and bowls, and has a fitness center with modern equipment.

Moxy Houston Downtown sits on Main Street, steps from Minute Maid Park, Discovery Green Park, and the Houston Aquarium. The light rail station is directly outside the door, and the hotel is a short walk from the Wortham Center and Alley Theater. Downtown Houston's live music venues and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk.

A 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out, luggage storage, and safety deposit boxes. The hotel provides a business center, meeting facilities, and fax/photocopying services. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible rooms, Braille signage, and emergency cords in bathrooms.
